He caught my eye during study hall. We happen to sit next to each other in the most random places. I get so nervous when I see him/her. My friends say he's got a thing for me.

It all started with a lecture on astrophysics/quantum mechanics/ancient mythology, late at night in the dorm/library/student union. Little did I know, that boring/fascinating/randomly chosen topic would lead me to true love/a disastrous date/an unexpected adventure. As I was scribbling notes, a check here swoon-worthy/nerdy/adorable person caught my eye/sat down next to me/approached me with a question. Suddenly, the lecture became forgettable/the highlight of my week/a source of endless debate because all I could think about was their smile/their intelligence/how they smelled like cinnamon.

  • We exchanged numbers/They asked me out/The entire class got into a shouting match.
  • There were sparks flying/It was awkward silence/I realized I forgot my pen.

And I never looked at astrophysics/quantum mechanics/ancient mythology the same way again. It just goes to show, you never know where love will surprise you!
